Bushfire Awareness Information Session - Mountain River

We invite residents of Mountain River, Grove, Crabtree and surrounds to register their attendance to this upcoming bushfire information session.

Join the Bushfire Ready Neighbourhoods Team, as well as representatives from the Fuel Reduction Program, Huon Valley Council and local volunteer brigades and learn what you can do to get prepared for the upcoming fire season. 

The following topics will be covered, and followed by a Q&A:

• Introduction to Community Protection Plans
• Property Preparedness Information
• The Role of Council in an Emergency
• Evacuation Centres and Livestock Evacuation
• Fuel Reduction Programs in the Area
